Magic Quadrant Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

The new Magic Quadrant report from Gartner identifies the leading providers of Access Governance solutions after a thorough examination of the offerings, differentiators and strategies of vendors in the Identity and Access Governance market. Vendors were evaluated based on their ability to execute and completeness of vision.
In the December 15, 2011 report, Gartner Analysts Earl Perkins and Perry Carpenter state "managing identity and access is more than an operational concern. Rather, it requires governance of identity and entitlement life cycles in the enterprise." They note "the growing need for identity and access management (IAM) governance will cause identity and access governance (IAG) solutions to become the lead focus of two out of three IAM projects by 2013, up from one in three today."
