Industry veteran brings extensive experience in the security and identity management market to new position
WALTHAM, Mass., Jan. 30, 2007 – Aveksa, Inc., a leader in automated security compliance, today announced that Jim Ducharme has been named vice president of engineering. In his new position, Ducharme will drive the research and development efforts for Aveksa’s industry-leading solutions.
Ducharme joins Aveksa with more than 16 years of experience delivering enterprise software. Prior to his new position, he served as vice president of development at Computer Associates responsible for the strategic planning, engineering, and delivery of the company’s identity management products. Previously, he directed product development at Netegrity, a leader in the identity and access management market, including responsibility for the IdentityMinder product line and the company’s identity management strategy. Earlier in his career, Jim was director of development at YouPowered, a venture-backed startup company focused on identity privacy and behavior-driven personalization technology. Jim held similar positions at Sybase/Powersoft and at Natural Intelligence.
