Security Industry Veteran to Lead Channel Initiatives and Forge Strategic Partnerships for Risk Management and Compliance Software Leader

WALTHAM, Mass.—April 23, 2007—Aveksa, a leading provider of automated security compliance solutions, today announced that Pamela Cyr has been named Vice President of Business Development. Cyr brings more than 17 years of global strategic alliance management, business development, corporate merger and acquisition, product  management and engineering experience to Aveksa. She will be responsible for overseeing the company’s channel and alliance initiatives.

Prior to joining Aveksa, Cyr was Director of Business Development at RSA Security, the security division of EMC, where she led the company’s global consultants and systems integrators, new market initiatives and strategic technology alliances. Cyr spent more than ten years in leadership roles with RSA Security, and was a key member of the team that led the company’s entry into the Web access management space through development and acquisitions.

Prior to joining RSA Security, Cyr worked at Raytheon Company where she held various engineering leadership positions focused on the development of satellite communications, RADAR and wireless LAN solutions. Cyr holds a B.S. in computer systems engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Mass. and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
